The principle of truck shifting is to shift gears by changing the transmission gears. There are gears with different gears on the tire rotation shaft. When the engine speed remains constant, gears of different sizes (gears are different) are set to combine with the engine, and the circumferential speed obtained by the large gear is less than that of the small gear.
The principle of car shifting:
1. A gearbox is a gearbox with many gears inside. The driving gear (connected to the engine through the 100 clutch) receives power from the engine to drive the driven gear (connected to the wheels through the main reducer and transmission shaft) and drives the wheels to rotate;
2. Each gear has a pair of driving and driven gears, which gear is combined to transmit power. Here we also need to mention the concept of "transmission ratio". Generally, the transmission ratio of a 5-speed transmission is between 3-5, which means that the driving gear (engine) rotates 3-5 times, and the driven gear only rotates once;
3. The engine speed has been reduced by 3-5 times, but the torque (dynamic force) has been amplified by 3-5 times (reducing speed and increasing torque is a knowledge in mechanical principles, if you don't understand, you can think of a variable speed bicycle that pedals quickly but runs slowly when climbing hills);
4. As the transmission gear increases, the transmission ratio continuously decreases, usually less than 1 in the fifth gear, which means that the output speed of the transmission is higher than the engine speed (of course, the power is also reduced). The speed output by the transmission is directly proportional to the vehicle speed, so it can be said that: low gear, high dynamic capacity, and low vehicle speed (when the engine speed is constant); High gear, low power, high speed.
