Causes of high temperature and how to check and eliminate
- Insufficient coolant filling or water restriction in the circulating system. After sufficient coolant is added, the liquid level shall be flush with the lower edge of the inspection hole of the expansion tank. In particular, after stopping and filling coolant, start the engine and run it for a period of time before unscrewing the inspection hole cover for inspection. If it is insufficient, continue filling until it overflows from the inspection hole.
2. The thermostat fails, preventing the coolant from circulating. The working requirements for the thermostat are as follows: when the coolant temperature reaches 80 ℃± 2 ℃, the large circulation valve opens 0.10mm; when the temperature reaches 95 ℃, the large circulation valve opens 10mm, the small circulation valve closes, and the coolant goes through the large circulation. The simplest way to judge the thermostat failure is that the outlet pipe of the engine is very hot to touch, while the inlet pipe of the water tank is not hot, which indicates the thermostat failure, and the thermostat should be further repaired or replaced.
3. Some water pipes of the cooling water tank are blocked, causing poor circulation. The blockage of some water pipes in the water tank is shown by the large temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of the water tank when touched by hand. If it is judged that the water pipes in the water tank are blocked, the water tank shall be dredged.
4. The gap between cooling fins of cooling water tank or intercooler is seriously blocked. This phenomenon often occurs in the engine cooling water tank sprayed with oil and the engine that often runs in harsh environments such as heavy dust and sand. If it is judged that the radiator gap is blocked, remove the water tank or intercooler for cleaning and dredging.
5. The injection timing is late. It shows that the engine is difficult to start, emits black smoke, is weak, feels stuffy, and accelerates slowly. The fuel injection timing should be adjusted.
6. The belt is too loose due to the looseness of the water pump tensioning pulley, and the speed of the water pump is slow and the flow is small. To determine the tightness of the belt, press the belt down with your fingers, and the droop shall not exceed 5~10mm. If the belt is too loose, it should be adjusted.
7. The water pipe leading to the air heater is not connected to the air heater, but directly connected to the water pump inlet. Therefore, the connection should be correct.
8. The wind deflector, wind protection belt and wind protection ring are damaged, invalid or not installed. The water inlet rubber hose of the water tank upper chamber or the water return rubber hose of the lower chamber is aged, and the rubber hose is flat when the engine is working.
9. The long-term antifreeze is not filled as required, which causes scale on the cylinder head water jacket or water pump wear.
