The function of the fuel system is to supply fuel with certain pressure to the engine. It also has the function of filtering impurities or dust in the fuel and regulating the fuel supply. The fuel system consists of fuel cap, fuel pipe, fuel tank, fuel pump, gasoline filter, carbon canister, carbon canister cleaning valve, pipeline and other components.

The fuel system undertakes fuel filling and transportation. It ensures that the fuel reaches the engine smoothly and is supplied to the engine for work. At the same time, it is responsible for collecting the oil vapor and filtering it into the atmosphere. The function of the fuel pump is to pump fuel from the fuel tank into the fuel pipeline, keep the fuel at a certain pressure, and deliver it to the fuel injector and cold start valve through the filter.

The fuel filter is installed in the oil circuit between the fuel buffer and the fuel injector. Its function is to filter the water and impurities in the fuel to prevent clogging the injector needle valve. The principle of the fuel injector is that the electronic controller sends the fuel injection current signal. The current flows through the solenoid coil to generate electromagnetic attraction, which attracts the iron core. Since the needle valve and the iron core are integrated, the clockwise valve opens and the fuel is sprayed out by the fuel injector.

The fuel pipe is made of plastic POM, which is resistant to aging and oil.

POM is a tough and elastic material, which has good creep resistance, geometric stability and impact resistance even at low temperature.

There are two kinds of materials: polyformaldehyde homopolymer and copolymer.

Homopolymer materials have good tensile strength and fatigue strength, but are not easy to process.

The copolymer has good thermal stability, chemical stability and processability.
