1、 Maintenance of air horn:
The sound of the air horn needs to be loud at a pressure of 392kPa. There is a screw for adjusting the sound on the air horn. Loosen the locking nut, adjust the adjusting screw repeatedly to achieve the best sound, and then tighten the nut.
The air horn does not sound or the sound quality is poor, which is usually caused by low air pressure or poor adjustment of the horn, severe air leakage from the button or skin tube, blockage of the airway due to dirt, blockage of the horn tube, inability to exhaust or detachment of the air tube, water ingress into the horn, corrosion and cracking of the diaphragm, and other faults.
Clean the surface dirt during maintenance; After disassembly, it was found that the diaphragm was corroded or damaged, and it should be replaced. When cleaning vehicles daily, do not inject water into the horn housing to avoid affecting its sound system. The QL11 air horn needs to be at a pressure of 294-980kPa for its sound to be more normal.
2、 Principle of Horn Sound Production
A speaker is actually a conversion device that converts electrical energy into sound. When different electronic energy is transmitted to the coil, the coil generates an energy that interacts with the magnetic field of the magnet, causing the paper tray to vibrate. As the electronic energy changes at any time, the coil of the speaker will move forward or backward, so the paper tray of the speaker will follow the movement. This action changes the density of the air and produces sound.
