The scientific name of automobile urea is diesel exhaust treatment fluid, which is usually used in diesel engines. It is a liquid used in SCR technology to reduce nitrogen oxide pollution in diesel exhaust. Its composition is 32.5% high-purity urea and 67.5% deionized water. The purpose is to reduce the nitrogen oxide pollutants emitted by diesel engine, so it is commonly known as Euro IV standard in China.
The maintenance of vehicles is different when different quality urea solution is selected. When the purity of the selected urea solution is not enough and there are impurities such as particles and heavy metal ions, it will cause serious damage to the nozzle, filter and other parts of the vehicle SCR system, and bring unnecessary economic losses. If the chemical composition of low-quality urea solution is not high, and there are heavy metals and other chemical components, it will react with the catalyst to reduce the effect of tail gas conversion, or even lose its function.
SCR system includes urea tank (loaded with diesel exhaust treatment fluid) and SCR catalytic reaction tank. The operation process of SCR system is: when nitrogen oxide is found in the exhaust pipe, the urea tank will automatically spray diesel exhaust treatment liquid, and the diesel exhaust treatment liquid and nitrogen oxide will undergo oxidation and reduction reaction in the SCR catalytic reaction tank to generate pollution-free nitrogen and water vapor for discharge.
If the diesel engine exhaust treatment fluid is not loaded, or the purity is not enough, or the quality is fake, the vehicle engine will decelerate automatically. At the same time, the diesel engine tail gas treatment fluid with inferior quality will pollute the catalyst in SCR catalytic reaction tank, causing serious consequences.
